Assignment Review & Completion Day: LFA Shamanic Training
9:30 AM » 12:00 PMThis gathering is for all current and former students of the Life Force
Arts Shamanic Training program to finish the assignments from the
seminar(s) they attended. The purpose is to finish your assignments all
in one day! We do this through oral presentations and discussions of the
assignments, so you do not have to finish the assignments by writing
them.
Enjoy a convivial time with fellow shamanic students and
instructor Joan Forest Mage and continue your shamanic learning. Anyone
who has attended an LFAST seminar is welcome, even if you have completed
the assignments, but want a "refresher course" on the material, and to
meet new and old shamanic buddies. There is no cost for attendance, and
refreshments will be provided.
This gathering is for you if:
- finishing your assignments has been on your "to-do" list for the longest time
- you really like talking about rather than writing your assignments
- your assignments are all done but you just haven't copied and pasted them onto the student forum
- you enjoy live discussion of the books and assignments with fellow shamanic practitioners
We
will start with the assignments for Level 1 (Energetic Protection,
Sensing Energy, Shamanic Journeying) and then do the assignments for
Level 2 (Nature Spirits, Healing Ritual, Shapeshifting) if there are
students from Level 2 needing to complete those assignments.

Finding Vocational Direction Through Astrology with Lin Ewing
1:00 PM » 4:00 PMThe 10th House & More
Take a journey into a fascinating study of vocational options through astrology. There are various astrological indicators, techniques and observations to use in determining what vocational directions a person should follow. In this class, we will turn our attention to the signs and qualities that rule the vocational houses while considering the leanings of the native as a whole horoscopic picture. We will use practical, step-by-step techniques for determining an appropriate vocation.
The 10th House cusp or Midheaven (MC) is considered the indicator of one's vocation or "career" in life (as well as social standing). While the elements of the MC are very important in indicating vocation/career, there are many other indicators of what a person is best suited to for happiness and success. We will look at the houses of substance (2, 6, 10) as well as their rulers in terms of elements, qualities and house placements and their aspects in order to understand how to arrive at an ideal vocational choice for an individual and we will understand why.
This course can help an individual to find a career/vocation that will bring happiness and fulfillment and can assist in understanding why some of us are perfect for something, while others of us are not.
Please bring a natal chart that you would like to investigate. If you need a chart printed, when registering please send the birth information for that individual to Lin Ewing at linewing@astrologicaldetails.com:
- Month, Day, Year of the birth
- The Exact Time Of Birth as it appears on the birth certificate
- The City and State of the birth. (If not born in the USA please include the Country of Birth)
$55/$45 early registration by July 14
