~how to use a jig to create different wire patterns
~historical and cultural styles in jewelry design such as Asian, African, Egyptian & Native American
~designing jewelry for various purposes, such as to heal the chakras
Students must purchase on their own a jewelry making toolkit. You can get them at Michael's, Joanne Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, Walmart or online.
Note: It is recommended but not required that students take all four sessions of this class. You can start with any of the sessions, depending on your previous jewelry making experience. Please contact the instructor at 773-794-8715 with any questions.
Steven Blaine Adams is an artist and designer who works with natural materials like stones and crystals to create symbols with spiritual resonance. The son of an astrologer and Tarot reader, Steve has been doing readings professionally for over 30 years, combining the Aquarian Tarot with the healing properties of gemstones. He is LFAE’s Associate Artistic Director and store designer. Steve attributes meditation, art, ritual and spiritual connection as instrumental catalysts in his path towards healing.
