Loving a healer can change things. At least it did for me.

Emily was — is — a CranialSacral Therapist. I had no idea what that meant when we started dating. On our first date she said "Even if we just hold hands, my hand will be working on you. I can't really help it." Since we were getting along wonderfully I said "Okay." And we held hands. I didn't feel anything — from her CST, that is. Less than a year later we were married, and we are now celebrating our fifth anniversary. And I've changed.

You could say it "rubbed off" on me. I figure five years of sleeping together cuddle-style, and getting to know this remarkable healer (my wife) has awakened a latent healing possibility within me. Since I've always been attracted to sound, I've followed my own healing path, which has led me to Bombay Temple Bowls and a Heart-Gong, to thunder and ocean drums, all within a portable temple I call "Ocean of Devotion." The sonic-healing adventure I present is cinematic in quality, very dynamic (ppp-fff), and quite musical, with themes and a narrative journey of exploration.

After attendess lock into the intention and experience my "Ocean of Devotion" sound ceremony (full-body immersion into the deep blue waters of liquid love), some begin to see their lives differently. Immediately afterwards, an emotional light-headedness may take over for a bit, and one's heart may feel swollen with a subtle bliss. The whisperings of Spirit are often more accessible. One's path may become more clear. Healthier choices around integrity ("whole and complete") may become the norm. Some "old stories" may no longer sabotage us.

This then, is the power of healing sound. And I now claim to be a sound-healer. Spirit Called to me, and I answered that Call: Thy will be done. I surrendered to something bigger than me, and I surrender each time I facilitate a sound-healing.
