i visited the high desserts and canyons of southern Utah recently. my mind
was set off! 9000ft elevations that looked like the floor of an
imaginary ocean; thoughts of the feeling of ancient discovery; seeing
the very temporary alongside a seeming eternal landscape that was
actually in constant change; watching my child walk through ruins of a
native village 10,000 years old --- a blip on the radar stepping
through the graves of another blip... yet, as tiny as we may be, we
find so many things that mean so much to our tiny selves and affect
the lives of so many other tiny selves and all these immense and
ancient things are ultimately filtered through each of our own tiny
individual perception, or vista, and that singular thing ultimately
turns into the framework for a whole universe! only multiply by a few
billion vistas floating around our little corner of some higher
vista's view...

just part of the oxford definition of vista (n) - a mental view of a succession of of
remembered or anticipated events...

Be he Man, God, or Metaphor, Jesus is reported to have said, “"I will be with you unto the End of the Age." This being the End of the Age (of Pisces), what is meant here?  Jesus also said, "…wide is the path that leadeth to destruction; narrow is the way, and few there are who find it."

The cross, the “sacred heart,” and the fishes (Pisces) are all traditional symbols of Christianity.  Take first the cross.  Making the “sign of the cross” puts the crossing right at the mid-point of the chest, the location of the “sacred heart” – the heart chakra.

The heart is the first of the spiritual chakras.  Life in the lower chakras concerns survival (1st), bonding and sexuality (2nd), and power (3rd).  Only when energy reaches the heart chakra do we become aware that others exist in and of themselves, as expressions of spirit, and not merely in terms of how they affect us.  The heart opens.  The universe is experienced as love.

But love does not immediately “heal all wounds” or resolve all problems.  We react by thinking that it is “you,” the other, who does not understand love.  We blame.  We judge.  Then we no longer have the presence of love, but only the memory.  Conflict returns, and we suffer.  Suffering eventually brings wisdom, and the wisdom is that love is our own responsibility, not someone else’s.  We create our own experience.  Then, for a moment, the energy has passed through the heart and into the throat chakra.  Truth – we walk our talk.

The time of bouncing back and forth to heart chakra, back to lower chakras, to heart, momentarily to throat, then back down again is the time of “being on the cross.”  The heart and chest (the broadest place in the body) and all the abuses of love, from religious conflict to advertising (McDonald’s:  "I’m lovin’ it!”) are the “wide path that leadeth to destruction,” while the truth of self-responsibility is the “narrow way” (the neck and throat) found by the few who become true spiritual warriors.

The cross becomes the “Sword of Truth.”

But what is a sword?  A “sword” is an “S-WORD.”  “S” is an ikon or pictograph, a two-dimensional representation of spin or spiral.  Every time we use an “s” in language, whether in thought, spoken, or written word, we are invoking a spin or vortex.  We are collecting some surrounding reality and pulling it into tighter and tighter orbits until it passes through the apex, like a black hole or a tornado sweeping across a trailer park and twisting trees, cars, motor homes into random bits of wood and steel.  The spiral implodes and destroys.  From the constituent bits, new realities can be assembled.  The SWORD (S-WORD) destroys the old in order to create anew.

That’s the “S,” but what’s the “WORD”?

Words are castings of spells, which is why they are “spelled.”  A word takes potential and turns it actual ("I could do this – I will do that”).  In the terms of contemporary science, words “collapse the wave-form” or turn “virtual reality” (literally, that made of virtues or ideals) into something actual, that which acts in time, makes choices.

If you are caught driving while drinking (a form of life in illusion), you may be asked to “walk a line” as a test of sobriety.  In a similar way, Spirit asks us to learn to “walk a line” – the line that connects Earth and Sky.  When we are responsible for our speech and acts, when there is harmony between our inner story and our outer, the kundalini rises through the heart and throat to the Third Eye, showing us why events have occurred as they have (we have no further stories of martyrdom, or complaints against the world).  Then the top chakra can open, and the “straight and narrow” path is revealed not as a rigid insistence on some external code of behavior, but a supple and graceful response to life as we encounter it.

Yet now we also possess the “sword,” which slashes through falsehood (internal or external) and allows us to destroy illusion.  Finally, the “sword,” in turn, becomes the “magic wand” that draws in the ghosts of illusions past, and casts them out again as new creation.  We have become life artists, the “gods” of our own creation.  But no one possesses the “magic wand” who has not first turned the cross into the sword.

Taught by Spider Spirit
Channeled by Astra of Wolf Wisdom

For some time now, Spider Spirit has been my teacher. Among the many valuable gifts she has given me, this meditation ranks highly!

Several of my clients and students have been asking for a written copy of this meditation so that they can practice it at home. Here at last is the written copy, a gift from Spider and me, so that you all may continue to grow and glow as the golden beings that you are!

Some of the best times to perform this meditation, which takes about 10 minutes, are:

  • In the morning when you rise
  • Before an event where you will be around a large number of people, such as a class, retreat, fair, or a job where you come in contact with many people throughout the day.
  • Any time!

A knowledge of the seven basic chakras, or energy centers, is helpful when performing this meditation. There are many diagrams online that show where the chakras are located.

This meditation connects us with Earth and Spirit, and teaches that we are one with all, and our power is Earth, Sky and Spirit combined! The Earth and Stars tell me that they enjoy giving their healing gifts to those who are open to receiving them. Let's give thanks to the Earth and Stars for being our constant support and our watchful guardians!

This meditation enables one to be fully in their power, guarded against any one else's energies coming at them.

Enjoy! YOU ARE POWERFUL!

Meditation:

Sit in a chair with both feet flat on the ground, hands comfortably in lap.

Breathe deeply, letting all tension and stress of the day melt in to the earth, relaxing the body.

From the root chakra, create a chord of energy. This is your grounding chord.

Envision your grounding chord going through the floor, down in to the earth.

Your grounding chord travels down, down, deep in to the ground, all the way in to the very center of the earth.

Anchor your grounding chord in to the center of the earth.

Your grounding chord begins to draw in the healing energy of the earth.

The healing energy of the earth travels up your grounding chord, up through all of the layers of the earth, and enters your root chakra.

The earth's healing energy circulates around and around in your root chakra, giving it a cleaning and a clearing. The earth's healing energy continues to circulate around in your root chakra, and travels up in to your second chakra.

The earth's healing energy circulates around in your second chakra, giving a cleaning and a clearing to your creativity. The earth's healing energy continues to circulate around in your second chakra, and travels up in to your third chakra: Your solar plexus: your seat of personal power.

The earth's healing energy circulates around and around in your solar plexus, giving it a cleaning and a cleansing and a clearing.

Now, envision a thin beam of light coming up from the center of your crown chakra.

This is your connection to the spirit plane.

Your thin beam of light travels up through the roof, up above buildings, trees, in to the sky.

Your thin beam of light travels up through the clouds, up through the earth's atmosphere, in to the celestial realm, and reaches the stars.

A spark of healing energy from the stars jumps in to your thin beam of light and travels down, down your beam, down through the celestial realm; this star-healing energy travels down your thin beam of light, down in to the earth's atmosphere.

The star-healing energy travels down your thin beam of light, down through the sky, down through the clouds, down through the trees, down through the roof.

The star-healing energy travels down your thin beam of light and enters your crown chakra, giving a cleaning to your crown chakra.

The star-healing energy enters your head, and circulates around, giving a cleaning and a clearing to your brain, your mind, your skull.

The star-healing energy enters in to your neck, and circulates around, in to your throat, giving a cleaning and a clearing to your voice, your personal truth.

The star-healing energy enters down in to your shoulders, through your collarbone, and enters your heart.

The star-healing energy gives a cleaning and a clearing to your heart, and your heart chakra.

The star-healing energy enters in to your solar plexus chakra, where the earth's healing energy is still circulating. The earth's healing energy and the star-healing energy circulate around in the solar plexus, and they meet.

As the earth's healing energy and star-healing energy mix together, they form a liquid golden energy. This energy is your PERSONAL POWER energy.

This liquid golden energy, your personal power energy, circulates around and around in your solar plexus chakra, and starts to travel up and down, in to all of your other chakras.

Your personal power energy travels through all of your meridians, energy pathways, until it is circulating through your entire energy system.

Your personal power energy, this liquid golden energy, circulates throughout your entire physical body; torso, arms, legs, head, chest, hips, hands, feet, everything.

You are shining with your personal power! You are shining and golden! Your personal power, your golden light, shines out in to your entire aura, your entire energy field — to the back, front, side, other side, up, down, diagonal — shining out in every direction.

You are glowing like the Sun with your personal power.

You are GOLD!
