Uranus is the energy of rebellion, tearing down, destruction, so when Uranus is “opposing” its birth position, people feel like rebelling, tearing down, and even destroying themselves in some way. Ripping down the “old ways” they have always done things, and thinking up new, crazy ways to do things. The only problem is…this feeling doesn’t last forever.  Eventually the Uranus opposition is over, and often people are left to clean up the mess they made of their life, wondering what in the world ever got into them to “mess things up” so completely in their trusted, reliable life.

Instead, if people understand the astrological “rebellion” message of this time, people can make small changes, and restructure their lives in some way. Discover the things that aren't the way you would like them in your life, and find a way to redesign those things, think of them in a new way, innovate a change of some kind so they better work for you. If you have problems with your job, work to restructure your job so that it fits you better…instead of quitting the job entirely. Being astrologically aware of the Uranus opposition can save a lot of pain and heartache later, so you can take advantage of this time…and are not destroyed by it.
