Humans are such tender-hearted creatures, especially as children. You know what I'm talking about. You came into this world with pure innocence and trust, saying, "Here I am – and I've got something to say!!" But all too often, what did you hear in response? "Be quiet. Sit down. Behave. Be quiet! The world doesn't need to hear from you!"
They were wrong. The world does need to hear from you.
Nobody else in the world can carry your message of wisdom and truth, the way you can. Nobody else can tell your story, as beautifully and eloquently as you can. But when you heard all those stifling, shaming messages, I bet that made you shut down, retreat, getting smaller and smaller, hiding your heart away. Of course, as years went by, this made it very difficult for you to access your true confidence and authority when you speak.
There are some simple tools that can help you regain that confidence and ease in speaking:
- Opening up the root chakra in your voice immediately adds depth and authority to the sound. As you do that, you reconnect with an inner knowing – you truly feel the worth of what you have to say.
- Opening up the 3rd chakra in your voice energizes the voice. It adds treble to the sound so it will carry without strain. As you do that, you reconnect with the joy and enthusiasm you feel about your message.
- Opening up the heart in your voice immediately adds warmth to your voice. As you do that, your listeners' hearts will open to your message, and you will share a deeper understanding.
