Sunshine & rain are abundant. Mother Earth is preparing to flaunt her new Spring/Summer wardrobe of vibrant colors. Our spirits are echoing this pattern by also wanting to blossom.
For many of us, it is a feeling of a need to change but we don’t know where to go next. Some of us have been scooped out of our comfort zone by recent circumstances and others have taken a leap of Faith but are wondering – where am I going to land? Some of us may feel even a little uprooted.
The last weeks have been a cycle of “breaking up of existing patterns” so that new and higher ones can be put in place. Our views and actions may have been challenged or our definitions of ourselves are being reformed. Typically, when shifts like this occur, there is a tendency to go into “defend & project” mode. (Yes, "project" is accurate) Our data is a little skewed because we are seeing life through the lens of our old patterns/belief structure etc.. We may find ourselves feeling vulnerable, over-sensitive, and critical.
It’s time for us to grow into ourselves. At this point in our evolution, many of those patterns are the weeds in our garden (our lives). We’ve outgrown them but we haven’t come to that realization yet. Universe is asking us to approach the process differently, to tune within, to weed out what no longer serves, and to make ready so that our gardens can bear the sweetest blooms.
While walking in the forest, this poem came to me on a breeze, as if in response to the ponderings of my heart. I wrote the words down immediately. They were messages from spirit. I say this poem almost daily. It is my prayer and a gentle reminder that Heaven and Earth speak to us all of the time, if we have the ears to hear and the heart to accept.
You will remember that you are part of the Circle of Life.
Listen with your Heart and
You will hear Heaven speak.
Love the person in the mirror and
You will see the Beauty of your Soul.
Forgive and You will free yourself.
Be still and You shall receive.
Breathe deep and You will savor Heaven.
Give gratitude and you will see your Dreams bear fruit.
Share, Play, and Trust like a child and you will know Heaven’s Wonder.
Honor Life and it will honor you in return.
Bless Life and the Soul of the World will sing your song.
