Step into the magic of Reclaiming earth-centered spirituality. Elements of Magic is the first in a series of the Reclaiming tradition's "Core" classes. Whether you are just beginning to explore Earth-centered spirituality or have been practicing for years, this class will provide you with an opportunity to explore Reclaiming's unique approach to magic and ritual as a multisensorial experience. Using the Elements as our guides and allies, we will work with and develop an entire spectrum of tools including visualization, trance work, spellcraft, ritual planning, and the deepest mystery of all - building and connecting with community.

Francesca:
To be co-teaching Elements of Magic again in Chicago fills me with great joy. This morning the Winter Sun shines bright; the air is fresh-tinged with a hint of burning cedar as I drink my honeyed cup of tea looking forward to a day filled with beauty, balance and delight. In truth I come to this work to share in the healing co-creation of our world, to hone our tools, to honor our Selves in connection to the Elements and the sacred in everyday.

Cathy:
I am excited to be teaching Elements again in Chicago!  I am a Gemini, musician, nanny, scout leader and adult trainer, hiker and camper, leave-no-trace advocate, multi-crafter, avid recycler, listener, and fan of sci-fi & fantasy. Much of my work in the world is about fostering understanding, compassion, and respect for diversity and individual choices.  I am constantly striving to balance the multi-facets of my life, and I find that experiencing, honoring, and exploring the Elements to be one of my strongest tools for that work.  I offer my creativity, my passion for truth, my music, and my sense of humor to this journey we will embark on together through the Elements.

Tosh:
I am called to assistant teaching Elements as a way to honor, hone, and share knowledge and tools which have nourished my spiritual life.  I feel connected to the elements when I dance joyfully, when I delight in the simple act of breathing clean air, when the spark of fire inspires me, and when my thirst is quenched by fresh water.  I am dedicated to using consensus process, non violent communication, magical activism, and the celebration of life in all its myriad forms as powerful ways of healing the Earth and our communities.  I look forward to the messages the Elements have for us as we come together with open hearts and ready hands to do this work.
